REINA OLGA WAS INSPIRED BY SISTERS GUIA AND ISOTTA’S CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF FAMILY BEACH DAYS AND SOFT FABRICS, A SHARED LOVE FOR TRAVEL AND SENSE OF ADVENTURE. AS (ALMOST) GROWN-UPS, THEY RUN AROUND IN FRILLY BIKINIS. THE BRAND’S NAME IS THE RESULT OF A PROCESS THAT BEGAN WITH MUSTACHE, VIA PINEAPPLES, CRABS, FEIJOADA, FAMILY, ELEGANCE AND A LOVE OF BUMPER STICKERS. LIGHTNING STRUCK ONE DAY IN PARIS, DURING A CONVERSATION WHERE THE SISTERS WERE TALKING OF THEIR GRANDMOTHERS. OLGA AND REINA, TWO WONDERFUL WOMEN WHO LEAD VERY DIFFERENT LIVES, BUT WITH A SHARED LOVE FOR COLOUR, FUN, TRAVEL, SUNSHINE AND A PENCHANT FOR JEWELLERY AND LEOPARD PRINT. REINA OLGA WAS BORN. REINA OLGA IS NOT JUST SWIMWEAR, IT’S BEACHWEAR. WORK-IN-PROGRESS INCLUDES A GROWING NUMBER OF SWIMWEAR FAMILIES, CATERING TO DIFFERENT MOODS AND TAILORED FOR DIFFERENT CONSUMERS, AS WELL AS COMPLEMENTARY ACCESSORIES, SO WATCH THIS SPACE! THE OTHER VERY EXCITING PROJECT IN THE PIPELINE IS A MEN’S LINE, THE RESEARCH FOR WHICH IS BEING LED BY TEDDY, THE YOUNGEST OF THE THREE SIBLINGS.
