Now Dida, tells me that this is how you do it Brad. I learnt the most invaluable lessons and the most fundamentals that one could learn. If you are unsure of yourself in the gym go and ask the next dude, if he is an as***le. So be it but most of the time you will be surprised how keen we are to share our knowledge and experience.

This was an intensive training week for me. I was thinking of my mentor Dida, what a guy truly. Buffed like a son of a gun. Humble and honest as can be. The good people, I remember stepping into the gym and I walked straight to him and said brother Ï want to know your secret, he laughed and said no secret my brother" hard work, dedication and commitment. Come train with us, I was like hell yeah. Now, please picture this I am very fit but these guys are superlatively beyond fit. I am training with the "big boys" so to speak. 20 minutes int the 45 minute session I said I quit. he looked at me and said that is the last time you quit on me....
I was beyond irritated, this bloke plants himself down on the chest press machine, whilst I am doing my most loved lateral pull downs. I am like okay dude too close for comfort. Next, I hit the bench press and before I open my eyes this dude is right next to me. Next, thing I know he throws himself on the floor huffing and puffing doing push ups. Now it is really beginning to agitated the hell out of me. What the hell brother? So I move my ass to the cardio circuit and this dude is there again. One thing about me I like an empty gym, the gym was empty until everybody realized oh crap lets go and pretend to get fit.
Dude if you really wanted to copy my style, you should have asked I am keen to share my knowledge and experience but don't be a gym stalker, it is so fu***ng uncool.
I was wondering about a few things and one of those things hit me smack bang. What bu****it is this about people posting s**t like, oh, wait let me elaborate I was at the gym. Sure your ass was at the gym, but what were you doing there? Makes me fu***ng wonder. I trained and I looked at this bloke, sitting on an elliptical machine. Headset to the ears (nothing wrong with that) but dude what the hell are you fu***ng around with a phone for. How the heck can you come to train allegedly (for the sake of telling others you were at the gym) who gives a s**t. Sit on a phone and do Lord knows what. Please word of advise leave the phone in the locker.
I was training six days last week and met a humanoid of a guy called JP. We had a chat and he belives that sixdays is the going to look ripped like he does. What inspired me even further was the fact that he was suspended horizonal doing leg lifts, now that is a feat not to take lightly. Sometimes you genuinely don't have the time but we need to find it, even if it means waking up at 5 in the morning. B-All that you can and have fun training your various muscle groups.
This is fascinating to me, seeing people try all sorts of complicated s**t they see on television. The guy performing the sit ups on a ball has a strong core, so it looks easy. The dude doing ten straight chin ups has an even stronger pectoral girdle. Stick to the basics, refine your technique and then modify it to suit your body's needs. Stop copying other peoples s**t for you might get injured. Do what works for you...
What really irks me is if someone says, "I just don't have the time to exercise" What a load of crap...instead of taking the elevator, hit the stairs. Instead of driving your lazy ass to the shop, take a walk. Last time I checked it does not take hours to do ten push ups, sit ups, leg lifts, dips and some squats. All the strength exercises old school style with no fancy equipment. My sentiment, find the time...
I walked by this poster in the gym this morning and it says "Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must but never quit" That sounds like the way we do it. So many people want that good looking body but how many people are prepared to put the work in so that they can achieve their goal? Mmmmm...HARDWORK + COMMITMENT + DISCIPLINE (The D factor) = RESULTS (You decide what results you want so go ahead and PUSH) "Find a way" Pursue Until Something Happens...see you in the gym.
You know that you are doing something right when your fitness level is at this point...
Tip for your Wednesday: NO eating CRAP, Carbonated junk, Refined sugar, Artificial s**t and Processed foods. You will be amazed at how eating correctly combined with exercise makes you feel great. Overall functionality, mental clarity and most of all keeping the calories at bay. The most important aspect of training lies in the preparation of ones meals. This is vital, it is futile training but not eating correctly.
