If you think exercise can only happen in a gym think about what would possibly keep you there. Is it the interior design? The plan walls? The cold metal machines? The air conditioning? The musk of sweat that cannot escape the rooms? The background music? The sound of metal bashing into each other? The clammy feel of rubber grips or pads against your body? Maybe it’s the community? Most don’t even make eye contact, let alone greet people around you. Is it the stimulating conversations that normally start and end with “How many sets do you have left?” Personally, since I started working out outdoors I don’t see myself ever going back full time into a gym.

Why is fitness testing important?
You need a measurable factor to know if you're progressing. If you're not, you need to go back to the drawing board and change your plan. Motivation needs to be topped up frequently. This helps!

I’d gotten into my head that because I haven’t been doing heavy resistance training, I had lost muscle mass and wasn’t looking “my best.” Even though I know better, I still have fears and believe the silly stories I make up in my head when I’ve done things differently. Lockdown has put my knowledge and concepts I teach in this regard to the test. Before I would always find a way to train in the right zones using expensive & unnecessary equipment. During lockdown I had only been doing light resistance training and a whole lot more cardio than I’ve ever done in my life. In theory I knew if I maintained doing exercise, even when it was the minimum required each week. If I wasn’t eating less food than I needed, that I would maintain the body and muscle I worked so long to achieve. Looking at these photos I can say it was a pleasant wake up and an easy way to shut out the fears. It’s so important to check in with yourself. Measuring your progress is important to keep your mind objective and positive! It helps a heck of a lot for motivation too! Thank you for the fun forest run & running is more fun with friends 🌳 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏻 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🌲

I’ve heard a lot about F45 recently so I decided to try my first session this morning. I decided to use because it was personally recommended to me. It’s so easy for me to try new studios because I use . I have access to hundreds of online classes, all at the click of a button! Thank you for the class! My partner .cape.gem and I were drenched afterwards! It was a great Monday morning cardio blast! Welcome to level 3 lockdown everyone☺️

I hurt my back badly during this lockdown period. I believe it was a physical manifestation of all of the weight I have been carrying for others, unnecessarily. It’s forced me to slow down and get perspective. Helped me to see what is my responsibility and what is not. I’m on the road to full recovery and I did a Back rehabilitation session with ! This was a yoga for deep connection session (Yin) PERFECT for where I am in my recovery process! Thank you for proving me with a platform of variety and choice so I can facilitate healing for myself during this difficult time 🙏
