VOB Grape Run 2026 needs you! 🍇🏃‍♂️

Race day is 15 November and volunteer sign-ups are now open! Whether you prefer marshalling, helping at a water table, or assisting at registration, we’d love to have your help.

We need approximately 200 volunteers to make this race possible, so please sign up and encourage your fellow club mates, family, and friends to join in too! (Non-members are also very welcome).

🏃‍♀️ OCTOBER TIME TRIAL SERIES 🏃‍♂️

Time Trial is getting a shake-up this October! Join us every week for a different challenge, a bit of friendly competition & plenty of fun.

🎉 WEEK 1 – BRING THE CREW!

We’re kicking things off by encouraging members to bring friends & family along to Time Trial. There’ll be a roster at the start – simply add your name & the number of guests you’ve brought. The member who brings the biggest crew wins!

🍔 STAY FOR A BURGER AFTERWARDS

Once the time trial is done, keep the evening going at the False Bay Rugby Club braai area at The Toad.

🖤VOB RUNS IN BLACK 🖤

Tomorrow, Thursday 17 September, we invite our VOB family to wear black for our weekly club run.

We run in solidarity with the women and families affected by gender-based violence, and in memory of those whose lives have been tragically cut short.

Every woman deserves to feel safe - whether walking, running, travelling home, or simply going about her everyday life.

Tomorrow, as we gather for our club run, let's take a moment to acknowledge the pain that so many families carry, and stand together in the hope of a future where no woman has to live in fear.

Wear black. Run or walk with us. Stand together.
