Hello June! Here's our updated Winter Schedule for ocean swims. And let's not forget the post-swim saunas and tasty treats! 🔥
Join us for an evening swim to relax and unwind, or a Saturday morning swim to kickstart the weekend, while connecting with the most incredible community of swimmers.
To join the swims, you need to be comfortable swimming a mile in the ocean (1.6km) and have recent cold water experience.
Members enjoy unlimited weekly group swims and access to the Glen Country Club facilities.
Guests can join for select swims on a pre-bookings basis.

If you're an open water swimmer who's been out of the water for some time, and keen for a gentle session to ease you back in - come join us for an Ocean Confidence Session this Saturday at Glencairn! Conditions are looking ideal 🌅
This Ocean Confidence Session, lead by an experienced open water swim coach, is the ideal opportunity to get back into the water in a small, supportive group setting.
The session will start off with warm up and conditioning exercises on land, before heading into the water for an easy-paced 800-1000m group swim.

Location: Glencairn Beach
Entry requirements:
To sign up, you need to be able to swim at least 500m comfortably in open water (ocean, dam, tidal pool or similar).
Equipment needed:
- Swimming costume
- Swim cap & goggles
- Tow floats are recommended (bring one if you have)
- Wetsuits are optional

Last week we had the privilege of visiting the Turtle Conservation Centre. To witness the incredible care they provide in rehabilitating turtles that get stranded along the shores of the Cape Peninsula year after year, getting them back to full health and strength before releasing them back into the wild was remarkable. And the passion that our guide Talitha showed was truly inspirational! We even got to meet Loggerhead turtle Kai who was being released the following day after a 6-year rehabilitation journey.
