We extend our best wishes to the National Futsal Team as they represent South Africa on the International stage.

However, we cannot overlook the process that produced this squad. The selection was conducted behind closed doors, without the Provincial Trials or Regional Tournaments that guarantee fair representation and equal opportunity for all players.

Despite the hard work and participation of clubs in the Western Cape, not a single player from this Region was called up. This is particularly disheartening given that Futsal Association CAPE TOWN previously promised that Western Cape would be considered based on the last 24/25 Regional League season in which Cape Town Titans competed.

For over three decades, Cape Town Titans has been deeply involved in building and growing futsal. It is profoundly sad to see our loyal and transparent contribution met with the exclusion of our players from National Selection.
