Scuba Diving It was based in the village, Blyvooruitzicht, situated outside Carletonville. At that time the club was called the Blyvoor Sub Aqua Club.

History:
The club was founded in 1985 with founder members Louis van der Schyff and Louis de Klerk. Due to better facilities which became available at the Elandsrand Swimming Pool, the club moved and set up base at Elandsrand. The Aqua Club was then “adopted” by Anglo American at that time the owner of Elandsrand and renamed as WestGold Sub Aqua
