August Light Meal Event | New Season is Coming!

Despite the cold outside, our runners came together again — not just for our monthly dinner, but to warm our ❤️hearts.

There's something special about sharing a light meal, good conversation and laughter.
It reminds us why we run together and stay 🤩together.

Here's to a new season around the corner — with fresh legs, warm hearts, and many more kilometers together.

THE SILVER SILVER FOXES
There is a very select group of men that have run a Silver over 60 at Comrades. This year Eric Venter (top right) became the 15th to join the club. Venter has a 40 year gap between Comrades Silvers which is probably a record. David Gamede (top left) earned a record 4th Silver over 60. I’ll be doing a feature article on each of these athletes.

The man at the bottom of the picture needs no introduction. 1995 winner, Shaun Meiklejohn, crossed the line under 7h30 for a record 33rd time (10 Golds) with his 34th finish and goes level second with Carel van Wyk with his 3rd Silver over 60.

There has never been a year with four Silvers over 60 but 2012 and 2023 also had three Silvers over 60.

Chloe is a 7 month female, still very much a pup, she is good with other dogs, cats and children
Good in the car, just a playful and loveable girl, she will probably dig your garden up and she's still at that chew everything age. In her world she is a lap dog
