Hi everyone 👋

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, so I just wanted to say that I’m still alive, still kicking — and still making knives! 🔪

This one’s a recent creation — a bit of a long video, but I hope you’ll find it interesting.

If you’d like to get in touch, please WhatsApp me at +27 72 638 6189 or email me at [email protected]

I don’t often check Facebook or Instagram messages, so if you send a message there, there’s a good chance I won’t see it.

Thanks for taking the time to watch — and take care!

P.S. The video’s in Afrikaans, but even if you don’t follow along, you can still appreciate the craftsmanship 😉

Excited to Share a Custom-Made Piece:

This 21cm knife, boasting a 10cm blade, is one of my recent creations for a client. It features a unique chamois horn handle, a visually striking material that also holds significance in European mountain culture. The chamois, a species of goat-antelope known for its agility in rugged terrains, adds a touch of the wild to the knife. The knife is completed with a warthog tusk bolster and brass detailing, blending nature and craftsmanship.

Note on Linguistics: The linguistic differences are quite fascinating to me. In Dutch, the male chamois is called 'gemsbok' (gems + buck), but in Afrikaans, 'gemsbok' refers to a completely different animal, the Oryx.

Hierdie enetjie vanoggend klaargemaak.
