EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️
Join us for a Working Equitation Presentation followed by a Live Demo presented by Jorge Pereira, Dressage and Working Equitation Judge, Grand Prix Rider and Portuguese Horse Master, who will be in South Africa for another of his hugely popular clinics.
Dressage is the foundation of Working Equitation, and in these clinics, Jorge focuses on the essential dressage principles required and how to carry them through to the Ease of Handling phase.

• Gain invaluable insights into the essential dressage principles that form the foundation of Working Equitation.
• Witness a live demonstration of how obstacles are ridden at various levels, enhancing your understanding and technique.
• Learn from a master: Jorge Pereira, formally trained in Portugal and a pupil of Nuno Oliveira for 8 years, brings a wealth of classical knowledge and experience.
💥Registration starts at 08:30.
We encourage everyone to arrive early for a quick meet and greet before the presentation starts. Registration fees include a breakfast roll and beverage to start the day.
The presentation will kick off at 09:00 followed by a live demo on how the obstacles are ridden at the various levels.

Lesson duration is typically 45 minutes. You can choose whether you want to work on improving your Dressage only (“Just Dressage”) or whether you want to concentrate on both Dressage and Working Equitation (“Bit of Both”).

We have something exciting to announce - Rosefield will be hosting a clinic with international judge and grand prix rider Jorge Pereira on 30 August 2025!

Join us for a Dressage and Working Equitation Clinic presented by Jorge Pereira, International Judge, Grand Prix rider and Portuguese Horse Master who will be in South Africa for another of his hugely popular classical Dressage clinics. Jorge was formally trained in Portugal and a pupil of Nuno Oliviera for 8 years. He currently trains with world-renowned rider and trainer, Kyra Kurkland. Jorge teaches all levels from Novice to Grand Prix. The only criteria he requires is your enthusiasm to learn.
Dressage is the foundation of Working Equitation and in these clinics, Jorge focuses on the essential dressage principles required and how to carry them through to the Ease of Handling phase.
The website for bookings is open! To secure your slot you have to book and pay online. Lessons cost €75 per session and the typical duration of a lesson is 45 minutes.

SAEF EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE

Our next Grooms' Course will be held on 9 & 10 August 2025 at Rosefield Equestrian Club , Gauteng . This is a 2-day course and will be subsidised by the SAEF. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
