The 7 am wake-up. The cold sideline. The "you've got this" on no sleep.
Nobody sees all of that. But your child does.
Behind every kid who runs onto a field with confidence is a parent who showed up, not just on the good days, but on the tired ones too.
You are the reason they try again after they fall. The reason sport feels safe enough to take a chance in.
On Global Day of Parents, this one's for you.
The cold sideline parents. The loudest clappers. The ones who never miss.
Tag the parent who shows up every single time.

What's In Our Coach's Bag? The skipping rope.
Underestimated. Underused. And one of the most powerful pieces of equipment we carry.
Rhythm, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, sequencing and social play, all in one piece of kit that costs almost nothing.
Younger kids start with rope patterns on the ground, building rhythm before the rope even leaves the floor.
Older kids progress to timed skipping, partner work and group games that build stamina and turn-taking.
Coach tip: lay ropes flat and have children jump patterns along them. Instant coordination work. Zero budget required.
Simple. Effective. Always in the bag.

Bilateral coordination sounds like something out of a textbook. It's not.
It just means both sides of the body working together and it quietly predicts more about how your child will learn, read, write and move than most people realise.
The good news? Every Clamber Club Sports session is building it.
Swipe to find out how.

60 minutes of movement a day.
Most South African children are getting less than half of that. And it's showing up in the classroom.
Children who don't move enough struggle to focus, sit still and regulate their emotions.
They're not being difficult, their bodies are just asking for something they haven't been given yet.
Clamber Club Sports comes directly to your school, no admin, no equipment.. Just structured, purposeful movement that gives your learners exactly what they need to thrive.
It's not an extra mural. It's essential.

The child who always gets picked last isn't less athletic. They're just less experienced. And there's actually a fix for that.
Every parent knows that moment. Their child is standing on the side, waiting to be chosen, hoping this time it'll be different.
It's hard to watch.
The truth is, sporting confidence isn't something kids are born with, it's built. And when children get to develop movement skills early, without a scoreboard or the pressure to perform, something really beautiful happens.
They stop dreading sport. They start enjoying it.
That's what we do at Clamber Club Sports. We give every child, especially the ones who've felt overlooked, a safe, fun space to build real physical confidence at their own pace.
No competition. No pressure. Just kids moving, growing and figuring out what their bodies can do.

Nobody cheers like a sports mom. Nobody.
She's up early, she's on the sideline, she's washing kit she didn't dirty and packing snacks she won't eat. And she does it every single week without being asked.
Happy Mother's Day to the moms who show up, rain, wind, early mornings and all. Your little one notices. Even when they don't say it.

It's Friday and somewhere out there a little one just sprinted full speed across a field for absolutely no reason.
No destination. No goal. Just pure, unhinged joy and the wind in their face.
Honestly? That's the energy we're taking into the weekend.
Happy Friday from Clamber Club Sports. We'll see your little athlete on the other side.
What are the little ones getting up to this weekend? Tell us in the comments.

Ever wondered what our Clamber Club Sports coach actually pitches up with?
Spoiler: it's not just vibes and a whistle.
Every piece of equipment in that bag has a reason, an age and a whole lot of developmental science behind it. We're opening the bag, one item at a time.
First up: the pool noodle.
Yes, really. Don't let it fool you.
What looks like something you'd find at a holiday resort is actually one of the most versatile pieces of equipment we own.
Here's what it's quietly doing every time it shows up at Clamber Club Sports:
• Coordination — stepping over, ducking under, weaving through. Every movement is the brain mapping the body through space.
• Balance — walking along a noodle on the ground sounds easy. Try telling that to a four year old.
• Body awareness — understanding where your limbs are and how much space you take up is a skill. The noodle makes it a game.
• Confidence — it's soft, it's silly, and nobody's scared of it. Which means kids try things they'd hesitate to attempt with harder equipment.
That last one matters more than people realise. When a child isn't afraid of failing, they try more. And trying more is exactly how they grow.
What should we unpack next? Drop it in the comments.

Shoutout to the ones who show up.
The coaches who arrive early and leave late. The parents on the sidelines in the cold. The little athletes who wipe out, get back up and go again without being asked.
That kind of work ethic doesn't start in a boardroom. It starts on a field, at about age three, when nobody's watching and they choose to try anyway.
Happy Workers' Day. We see all of you.
