Meet the team who help make Warnadoone Surf Lifesaving Club the special place that it is!
Having been apart of the club for many years, Tiffany Koch is both a member and a coach at the Warnadoone Surf Lifesaving Club. She coaches the Junior and Senior Lifeguards, as well as the Micro Nippers.
The highlight of her career thus far has been representing South Africa in the Olympics as part of the SA Canoe Sprint Team, where she made us so proud with her incredible skills!
Tiffany loves being active; she keeps this up by paddling on the river and working out at gym. She also enjoys spending time with her little girls.
Tiffany is excited for the racing season ahead; she enjoys racing in the sea as there are so many variables that make it exciting. We have a lot of talented Junior and Senior Lifeguards at the moment, and Tiffany is excited to race in team events and hopefully send a team to SA Champs.

๐ Gary OโConnor is the Junior and Senior Coach at Warnadoone Surf Lifesaving Club.
๐ Gary has been apart of lifesaving for many years, having done his award back in 1993. He recently got involved with the club again, when his boys joined as Micro Nippers. They are now in the Junior and Senior ranks.
๐ The highlight of Garyโs lifesaving career to date was when the Warnadoone Coaches dominated the Lifesaving SA Champs in PE, going on to win the relay event.
๐ Garyโs other interests, outside of lifesaving, include keeping fit and active by running, canoeing and surfsking.
๐ His future goals include getting his Junior and Senior teams to the SA Champs next year in PE. It sounds like it is set to be an awesome and exciting event, as he believes we have some great competitors.

๐ Logan Bradshaw is the Wahoo Squad Leader. He also has a great responsibility as Vice Club Captain and Equipment Manager.
๐ Logan began his lifesaving journey when he was just 14 years old; when he moved to Durban.
๐ For Logan, lifesaving has given him a wonderful way in which to make a family within the community with his fellow members, lifeguards and friends. In addition, his lifesaving journey has enabled him to be able to save lives.
๐ In his spare time, Logan enjoys surfing, water polo and bar tending.
๐ In the future, Logan hopes to be able to be in the right place and time to save lives when he is needed. He also has the goal of working as a lifeguard on yachts, being able to see the world.

Introducing Caden Button!
๐ Caden is the Cuda Squad Leader. In addition, he plays a very important role as IRB Officer for the Warnadoone Surf Lifesaving Club, which means that he is responsible for making sure that all maintenance and admin is up to date with regards to our boat - as well as ensuring that it is used properly; a very big responsibility!
๐ Caden started his lifesaving journey in September 2013, as a Nipper, thereafter transitioning to a qualified Lifeguard in 2019.
๐ Cadenโs career as a Lifeguard has already been an impressive one and has seen him making the KZN team in his final year as a Nipper and the heroic rescue he made where he brought 3 boys in from a rip on his first day as a qualified lifeguard.
๐ His future goals include making the KZN team, and even more aspirational, the National team, as a Senior.
๐ When he isnโt on the beach, he enjoys spending time with friends and having a good braai. Heโs also an enthusiastic Liverpool FC supporter!
