Cadence Cycling started with the realisation that training with power made perfect sense and nobody was really taking advantage of this fact! A studio with bikes with power meters provided an ideal environment to accurately test cyclists and then control intensity during training to stimulate rapid performance improvements.

For all cyclists, from beginner to podium seekers, training at Cadence will get you fitter, faster, than any other form of training!

We are now based at The Fitness Factory Durban North, so come pop in and see our studio!

Looking for a healthy pick-me-up before/after rides or training sessions?? Well give these Chocolate Date Brownie Bites a try!! 🍫 😍

This easy recipe is the perfect healthy treat! Medjool dates, nut butter, and cocoa are blended into a fudgy, brownie-like textureβ€”all dipped in rich dark chocolate and finished with flaky sea salt.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder (we use )
2 tablespoons nut butter
1 tablespoon oat flour
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup dark chocolate chips/70-90% Lindt

RECIPE:
1. Into a food processor, add in the dates, protein powder, nut butter, oat flour, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. Pulse until evenly blended.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Use your hands to roll the date mixture into 5 ping pong sized balls. Set onto the baking sheet.
3. Add dark chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, or until melted/smooth.
4. Dip the date balls into the melted chocolate until evenly coated and place back onto the baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with some flaky salt and put into the fridge for 30 minutes. Enjoy immediately or store in fridge to eat within a week.
