What a day at the Umdoni Young Minds Championship!

Our Spring-Board Chess Academy kids didn't just play chess, they did life together, on and off the board. Birthday
celebrations, Smiles, and sportsmanship all day long!

And the results were impressive:

ALL our kids did very well, and it was beautiful to see lots of wins and even more smiles!

♟️We were delighted to deliver 30 chessboards to Shakaskraal Primary School today, where the chess programme is experiencing remarkable growth.

With coaching supported by North Coast Chess Club and Coastal Farmers Co-operative Limited , participation has grown from just 14 learners to 46 enthusiastic young players.

It was wonderful to see the children filling the room during their break and completely absorbed in Coach Prince’s lesson. Their growing love of chess was evident from the moment we arrived! 💙♟️

As participation continues to increase, we are pleased to help the school’s equipment begin to catch up with its growing number of players.

We look forward to watching chess continue to thrive at ShakasKraal Primary!

What a powerful day it was on 22 August 2026!

Domino Business, in partnership with Spring-Chess Academy / Lighthouse Church, successfully hosted a Business Training Workshop aimed at empowering our community.

Through their programs:
1. BUSINESS IN A BOX: Short workshops designed to train & equip entrepreneurs with essential small business skills.
2. THE ENTREPRENEUR'S JOURNEY - A coaching & mentoring program to empower entrepreneurs to develop their business.

The workshop was all about BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS and encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit - focusing on Innovation, Growth and Sustainability.

And the best part - all participants received FREE products to sell to help them raise their own capital and kick-start their businesses!
