MD 24

HILLS & WAVES

The results for the Hills & Waves Road Cycling Series presented by MD24 have been finalised, with the KZN Cycling Yellow Jerseys for overall series wins going to David Shelley and Gena Lofstrand in the men's and women's categories respectively.

The lucky draw prizes for all riders who took part in the series went to Reece van Straaten (who won the big prize of R7,500), Njabulo Kheswa (R5,000), Anthony Merredew (R4,000), Dale Sandy (R2,500), and Christian Deare (R1,000).

Thank you to all participants in the series and thanks to Dr Alstynn Pillay at MD24 for making the prizes possible.

STRAVA WINNERS

The aQuellé Tour Durban in association with Cycle Lab results in the Strava competition have been finalised. The big winners are Paul Taylor and Ryan Viviers in the 84km and 42km distance respectively, while Ashwin Romalall had the quickest hillclimb on the day, according to Strava.

These results are strictly taken from Strava, shortly after the Monday midnight deadline for uploading files. Riders were not eligible for more than one prize in this competition, hence riders who did multiple laps were not eligible to win a prize in both the 84km and the 42km, or twice in the 42km.

KZN CYCLING SCHOOLS ROAD SERIES RESULTS

The final results for the KZN Cycling Schools Road Series event at the aQuellé Tour Durban in association with Cycle Lab have been released by the KZN Cycling commissaires and are published below.

Once again the Tour Durban organisers apologise for the delayed publication of the final results – all efforts have been made with the relevant role players to ensure all information has been corrected
