We're so relieved to hear that one of our dear speakers, Lungile Nhlanhla is out of hospital and in recovery today! We know many of you were disappointed to not be able to hear her speak and were worried about her health but thanks to your prayers she's out and filming for Top Billing today! IT'S THE DAY! IT'S THE DAY!
A few things to keep in mind if you're joining us:
1. Doors open at 6:30pm and talks start at 7pm sharp
2. Bring cash money for entrance, food and drinks
3. Seats are limited so if you don't want to be left standing, come early!
4. To avoid parking mares, why not round up your mates and catch an Uber?
5. ArtSpace Studios are at 3 Millar Road, Umgeni (Just next to Waste Center)
6. The first ten people score a free cuppa from Noble Coffee!
7. Budget some time to hang out and meet the speakers after the talks, it's going to be a vibe!
8. We have arranged for a car guard for a few hours this evening

Show some love for our final speaker - Joanne Parker. This Master's grad has six years of experience working as an economist for both the private and public sector. Her desire to disrupt the economic research space in South Africa is what led her to found Resource Consultants, providing socio-economic analyses and solutions that are data-driven, practically implementable and sustainable. You don't want to miss out on learning from this forward-thinker on the 27th!

Introducing our fourth guest speaker, Shanelle Jewnarain. This DUT grad found a passion for writing and story-telling through film. After producing several short dark comedies, Shanelle has been freelancing in the industry, getting involved in all aspects from script writing to production design. Currently stepping out of her fiction niche, Shanelle is working on a poignant documentary called "Womxn:Working", which follows the plight of local s*x workers. Don't miss out on learning more from Shanelle next week Thursday!

TTMC welcomes Courtney Shaw to The Club. Courtney has been in the beauty industry for the last 6 years, dabbling in numerous projects focused around beauty therapy and always choosing the road less traveled. Her latest successful venture is the newly-opened The Bloom Box Durban, where Courtney has focused on uplifting women's self-esteem and creating a unique beauty therapy experience - proving that if you don't fit into a box, simply create your own instead.

We're so proud to welcome Lungi Nhlanhla to The Club. This DUT graduate became nationally known as one of the Top 5 2012 MasterChef SA finalists, and went on to become DRUM Magazine's Junior Food Editor. Lungi now heads up Lungi's Corner, a Durban based company focused on the food industry - and that's just a taste of her story. Hear more about her career journey on the 27th!
