There was a time when joining Gagasi FM was nothing more than a dream, a vision I carried quietly while putting in the work behind the scenes. Today, I look back with deep gratitude and pride, knowing that consistency, patience, faith, and hard work truly pay off.
Five incredible years later, I feel honoured to be trusted with such a powerful platform. Sport has always been part of my life, and being able to do what I love every day is a privilege I never take for granted.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the journey. ππ½

I recently reported on the funeral of player Sinamandla Zondi, who tragically died on the pitch at Chatsworth Stadium last week. Zondi collapsed during the teamβs warm-up ahead of their Motsepe Foundation Championship match against Milford FC.
His father, Lungisani Zondi, shared the heartbreaking moment he received the news of his sonβs passing. Durban City FC chairman Farook Kadodia questioned the decision to continue the match after players had witnessed Zondi take his final breath.
Popular Maskandi musician was among the mourners. Professor Tim Meyer from Saarland University in Germany offered insight into possible medical causes behind Zondiβs sudden death.
