Max Wetteland will be remembered forever. In honor of him, family and friends got together on Sunday 19th July at North Beach Durban for a memorial paddle out. The turn out was amazing… You will be greatly missed.

Max Wetteland was not only a pioneer in surfing, but a pioneer of life. He lived a full one and his achievements far greatly exceeded what many wish they could have seen or done in a lifetime.

Max's memorial will be at Pirates Surf Lifesavers Club on Saturday 18 July at 11:30-12:00. Please join us in remembrance and celebration of this great man.
