A sudden global change, that forced us all to "quit cold turkey" and completely shift societal operational habits into a new way of how we do life. As certain as change is, its unpredictable rhythm and impact is just as uncertain. Within the parameters of this constant flow of duality, change will either be viewed as a threat (Spectarors) or an opportunity(Players).
The power of that decision lays entirely up to you. For the consequences, favorable or not, will have to be faced just as surely as gravity humbles holds us to the Earth.
These changes brought about from the Covid pandemic will shape young peoples narrative going forward. The next generation will either
remember adults who insisted only on students keeping their grades up
and behavior in bounds or they will remember caring adults who adapted
and led their students away from post-traumatic stress disorder and
toward post-traumatic growth. How do we achieve this? By listening, discerning,
empathizing, caring, guiding and supporting one another on our journeys.
Amongst many other things, as a coach/educator returning to the field/classroom post-COVID shutdown of schools, our main professional concern should be to equip students with the necessary skills and techniques that will instill a drive and understanding that change is constant, you are responsible for your life, accepting all things,and then appreciating all that you are and all that you are not, utterly and completely, as a whole. And within that "whole", rests a HERO, bursting to live a purposeful and meaningful life of fulfillment.

Being back on the coaching field feels like a cast has been pulled off a broken arm. It's still a arm and works, but must relearn and recondition. Coaching, post covid, has never been as important as it is now!
