Congrats TMC 💥Get • Congratulations to the following Thomas More College pupils for their outstanding performances this past weekend.

Thomas More College is well into the cycling season, with pupils competing consistently and achieving strong results across both XCO (Cross Country) and the Marathon Series. The recent 6-week Summer Series, hosted by the Shongweni Club, saw excellent participation from both primary and high school pupils, further strengthening the cycling culture within our community.

At the Peschl Sports Cane Challenger, the second race in the Marathon Series, our riders achieved the following results:

20km
• Greyson Eybers – 3rd in age group (46th overall)
• Ella Pitchford – 1st in age group, 1st lady overall & 6th overall
• Oliver Brown – 3rd in age group (5th male overall)

40km
• Tom Pitchford – 4th in age group (5th male overall)
• Elijah Pretorius – 10th in age group (17th overall)

In the KZN Provincial XCO Series, following three rounds, Thomas More College riders continue to hold strong positions within their respective categories, reflecting consistency, commitment, and steady progression throughout the season.

We also acknowledge Tom Pitchford and Ella Pitchford, who have qualified to represent KwaZulu-Natal at the SA National XCC/XCO Cup Series taking place this weekend at Thaba Trails in Johannesburg. We wish them well as they compete at national level against strong competition from across the country.

Well done to all our riders on your continued efforts and achievements — your hard work and perseverance continue to make the College proud.
