Nabi Praises Dove’s Mental Strength After Chiefs’ Loss to Sundowns

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi commended Edmilson Dove for his resilience and defensive contribution despite the team’s 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns. The Mozambique international, sidelined since July due to injury, played his first competitive match of the season and lasted the full 90 minutes.

Nabi acknowledged Dove’s mental strength and adaptability, highlighting his defensive stability. While he noted that the left-back couldn’t be expected to deliver everything immediately, he was pleased with Dove’s performance after months of training.

Dove is set to start against Magesi FC on Tuesday, with Chiefs aiming to avoid mistakes from their previous 2-2 draw against them.
