For sure the stand out of the demographic shift in the paddling fields in KZN, huge amount of young people entering the sport with junior, short course and father and child combinations packed with sting fields. Watch this space, some future champions are going to come out of kzn.

The durban racing scene kicks off for 2023 with the Dash For Cash series.
Race 1 of the tonight sees the series expand adding a Malibu Board and Running events.
Conditions are looking fun with a light NE and some good down.
Time to dust of the surfski’s and get rid of the Xmas pudding, done miss those awesome races.

In 2015 a motley crew of durban paddlers set out on an adventure in the cape of storms to do 10 millers runs in a day in memory of their late friend Wayne Wilson.

Well done to the durban paddling community. The durban youth clinics calumniated in a guided downwind paddle with all the youngsters getting to experience what ocean paddling is about, a downwind in a double with an experienced paddler. A huge step forward in mentoring the next generation in surfski champions.
