Yesterday marked more than just a run,it marked a new chapter of hope, unity, and purpose. For the first time, Wings Athletic Club set off from the Blue Roof Life Space, and together we laid the foundation for something far bigger than footsteps on the pavement.

This partnership is built on a shared belief,that every person deserves a space to grow, to be seen, to be supported, and to rise. Blue Roof Life Space stands as a beacon of empowerment and healing, and Wings Athletic Club stands as a testament to discipline, perseverance and family through sport. Combined, we are creating a movement fueled by love for our community and a vision for healthier, stronger lives.

We are not just running for fitness — we are running for purpose.
For the youth who need guidance.
For the parents who need support.
For those fighting silent battles.
For every dreamer in Wentworth and beyond who believes they can become more.

Each stride we take from this space is a promise:
A promise to uplift.
A promise to include.
A promise to show up for one another.
A promise to prove that when community stands together, we rise together.

Wings Athletic Club invites YOU,our community, our families, our youth to come together for a powerful 6km Run/Walk this Saturday as we take a united stand against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

⏰ Time: 7am
🎽 Dress Code: Wear ORANGE or PURPLE tops

This is more than just a run it’s a movement.
A moment to honor survivors, to remember those lost and to raise our voices as one community saying:

“No More Silence. No More Violence.”

🧡 ORANGE represents a brighter future free of GBV, a symbol of hope and solidarity.

💜 PURPLE symbolizes justice and dignity for those who have suffered from abuse.
