What a great way to kick-start the week! 💪🏽❤️

City of Roses AC showed up in numbers at the SAPS Free State Polmed Race at Bobbiespark, Bloemfontein. The team came ready to run, represent, and do what we love most — putting in the miles at our own pace! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🌹

🚌 Our captain delivered the 70-minute bus! What a performance! 🔥👏🏽

🥈 Special congratulations to Pres Kg for securing 2nd position on the podium in the age category! Your achievement makes us proud and continues to inspire the team. Keep shining! 🏆❤️

🙌🏽 A big thank you to our special guest, Wondergirl, for joining us and running the streets of Bloemfontein alongside the City of Roses family. Your presence made the day even more special! 🌹🏃🏽‍♀️

We run together, grow together, and celebrate every achievement together. One team, one family, one pace at a time! ❤️💪🏽

🖤 BLOEMFONTEIN RUNNING COMMUNITY UNITED 🖤

Today, the Bloemfontein running community came together to celebrate and honour the life of Mpho “Destroyer” Mamotho.

They also came together in solidarity against gender-based violence, following the tragic murders of Tsontso and other women in Kempton Park.

As runners, clubs and members of our community, we stand together to say:

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
NO TO GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE.
NO TO THE KILLING OF WOMEN.

As a caring running club we are saddened by the passing of our fellow top runner 😢💔
How long are we gonna be scared of going out to train on our own😢 do we have to die in our own country, our own space😢 where is the safe space? Because women died in places that were considered safe. Enough is enough💔😢 we mourn with Tsontso's family, the vitality team, and every runner that loved Tsontso 😭😭😭May your awesome soul rest in peace, top runner and rise in glory. We shall continue to run the streets of Africa and even beyond our borders.
