This year we're extending Incredible Gymnastics Week and celebrating it throughout the year by highlighting the disciplines that makes our sport so special and begin with Rhythmic Gymnastics where sport meets artistry!

Rhythmic Gymnastics combines strength, flexibility, coordination and performance into one incredible gymnastics discipline.

South Africa’s rhythmic gymnastics community continues to grow with:

👩‍⚖️ 17 Individual & 10 Group Brevet Judges

African Championships has come to an end and we are so proud of our gymnasts who have all walked away with medals! Our KZN junior group won silver in the all around and silver in both the ball and ribbon finals! Stephanie won the senior all around bronze medal as well as bronze in the ball, clubs and ribbon finals! Proud is an understatement! Thank you to KZN coach Tayla for all her hard work with the group! Congratulations to Stephanie’s coach Lazarina- the medals also being to you! And thank you to Robyn who was an LOC member as well as Superior Jury member.

Best of luck to our special girls who received their protea colours and will represent South Africa at the African Championships in Tshwane this week. Nomthandazo and Skyler are part of the KZN Junior group and Faith who although being ranked as South Africa’s number 1 junior, has unfortunately had to withdraw due to a broken hand. We wish Faith a speedy recovery! We are so proud of all of you!
