Facing Germany’s 2nd seed Jamie Mackenzie, Doig put up a spirited fight on the hard courts but was eventually halted 6-3, 6-3 in a hard-fought encounter lasting an hour and 19 minutes.

🇿🇦 Proud Campaign: Reaching the last 16 at a Junior Grand Slam remains a massive milestone and fantastic experience on the world stage!

🇩🇪 Clinical German: Jamie Mackenzie showed his pedigree, converting key break points to advance to the quarter-finals.
