not all muscle injuries are the same - & neither is their healing timeline โฑ๏ธ

muscle strains are graded from 1 to 3 based on severity.
knowing the grade helps guide the right rehabilitation and reduces the risk of returning too soon.

- grade 1 injuries involve mild fibre damage and can heal from a few days up to 2โ€“3 weeks

- grade 2 injuries are partial tears with pain and weakness, usually taking 3โ€“8 weeks to heal

- grade 3 injuries are complete tears and may take 8+ weeks, sometimes several months, to recover

while tissue healing canโ€™t be rushed, the rehab process can be optimised. progressive, well-timed exercise supports proper healing, restores strength and mobility ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ, and reduces re-injury risk.
