We’ve compared every event against the 2025/2026 standards so you can instantly see:

Swimming South Africa has released the 2026/2027 SA Senior National Championships Long Course qualifying standards.

We compared them with the 2025 standards, and the results are clear:

🔴 17 out of 17 events now require faster qualifying times.

🚨 NEW SSA QUALIFYING TIMES ARE HERE!

Swimming South Africa has released the updated 2026/27 Long Course qualifying standards, and we compared them with the 2025/26 season.

The biggest surprise?

✅ Level 2 remains completely unchanged.

But Level 3 looks very different:

🔴 59 standards became harder
🟢 30 became easier
⚪ 19 remained unchanged

Some changes are significant. For example, the Girls 13 400m Freestyle standard moved from 5:46.67 to 5:17.83 — a difference of 28.84 seconds.
