Safe travels and good bowling to our star Under 35 Durbies, Lusiano Foster, Adi Esau and Francois Klopper!

💙The Executive and Selectors of the Western Province Bowls SA district wish the lads and lady of the Western Province Under-35 A and B Teams ✈️🚗 safe travels as they head to Welkom in Northern Free State for the 2026 Bowls South Africa Under 35 Inter-District Championships!

The district are proud of their young, energetic and talented players that are selected to represent the district - including the 🧢🧢 new caps Lusiano Foster and Adi Esau both from Durbanville Bowling Club. They will be playing in the front rank of the WP U35 A team with skip Armand Ascaray and 3rd Ryan Truter, both from Edgemead Bowling Club with manager Graeme Elliott from Fish Hoek Bowling Club.

The WP U35 B team comprises another member of Durbanville BC, Francois Klopper as skip, with Brittany Clarke from Edgemead BC, Luke Ellis from Constantia Bowling Club, and Ruan Stone from Sunningdale Lawn Bowls Club, managed by Paulina Dockendorff from Old Oak Bowling Club.

Wear the badge with pride, may you find the the perfect lines with just the right weight, and give it your all when you walk onto the same green with your different colour tekkies.

Play will take place at the Welkom and Rovers Bowling Clubs.
There will be live-streaming during the tournament. Information to follow during the follow up post. Go well, WP!

THE PBA SHOP IS TAKING A SHORT BREAK!

On 24, 25 & 26 September, the PBA Shop will be CLOSED.

Why? Well… apparently, even the people who sell bowls have to occasionally play with them!

All our staff will be taking a short break to get out on the greens and enjoy a few days of bowls. Don’t worry — we’ll be back on 29 September, hopefully with the bowls still behaving!
