Buffalo City Marathon organisers have noted the constructive criticism from the participants of the 2024 edition.

We would like to thank the sponsors for their contribution to a world class event. We are eternally grateful to the clubs and
members for their support and contribution to the growth of the race.

We had an incident of underresourcing on the 15km waterpoint. The challenge was quickly rectified and normalcy was
restored.

We apologize for the few runners who were affected. All water points had sufficient water and refreshments.

Lastly, due to an administrative error from ourselves, we had a few members who received medals with no ribbons.

We have noted the list of those runners and they will be receiving new medals within the next 2 weeks.

We will make contact with their clubs.

We are a young club, hosting a new race, and we are doing the best we can for the
province and running community at large.

We will grow this race with you; and your criticism is important.

Whilst we cannot respond to each and every participant’s experiences, we will note them for future experiences.
