It’s a funny thing about CrossFit. You walk in on day one just trying to survive the workout, barely catching the names of the people in your heat. At first, they’re just "the heavy lifter," "the fast runner," or "the person who always finishes first."
But then, the months turn into years.
You spend hours together in the suffering through the same WODs, cheering each other on through that final rep, and grabbing post-workout coffee when you’re too tired to move. Somewhere between the chalk dust and the loud music, those "gym acquaintances" turned into the people who know your goals, your struggles, and your heart.
They’re the ones who show up when life gets heavy outside the gym, too.
