Sunday's hike from Winterstrand to Kidds Beach. Lovely walking conditions.

Lovely new hike - Weekender Trail - which is the first two days of the Strandloper Hiking Trail. Perfect for East Londoners (and others!) for weekends away.
Great weather and great bunch of folk made for a fun time.

That was somewhat of a bushwhack! Not going to lie...
But there were smiles all round so it seems everyone had a good time!
Will make sure the trails are cleared before we head to this destination next time.
The Wetherd crew welcomed us warmly and the rolls were delish.

Transkaroo 3-Day Slackpacking Trail

A group of Let's Hikers went to Middelburg to hike the Transkaroo 3-day slackpacking trail from the 28th June to the 1st July. It was a bitter cold 3 days with strong wind and even lightning on the last day, but it was a great experience nonetheless.

The scenery was majestic with the wind turbines leaving everyone in awe. Day 2 was a tough day going up the canyon, but it was beautiful and rewarding.

Everyone had a great time and it was a hike that will stay with us for a long time to come.

An adventure of a lifetime. 🏞🎒🥾

The climb wasn't without its steep moments, but every single step was worth the view. Nature has a way of quietening the noise and grounding your soul.
