🎾 Celebrating Tennis Wimbledon Style 🎾

With rain firmly on the forecast, there was every reason to expect a washout. Instead, the weather had other plans!!
Blue skies prevailed, the sun peeked through the clouds, and we were treated to a truly picturesque afternoon of grass court tennis.

The court, framed by the beautiful winter sunshine, provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon filled with spirited rallies, friendly competition, and wonderful camaraderie.

Making the most of the conditions and the unique charm that only grass court tennis can offer, the day was a celebration of tennis in great company!

Here's to more afternoons like these—where the weather surprises us, the tennis shines, and memories are made both on and off the court.

Beacon Bay Tennis Club hosted their
Annual HI-Q Mens and Ladies Doubles Tennis Tournament.

It was a pleasure to have all six tennis courts fully occupied and busy throughout the day with a total of 98 matches featuring 64 players across league and social divisions.

The tournament showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, endurance, competitive spirit and sportsmanship throughout the day. Spectators were treated to intense rallies, and remarkable team performances.

The tournament concluded successfully despite the near-disastrous weather conditions of rain, lightning and thunder.

Men’s First League Doubles Results

The Men’s Social Doubles division showcased spirited competition and strong partnership play, adding great energy to the tournament atmosphere.

Ladies League Doubles Results

The Ladies League highlighted tactical play and excellent court coverage. The finalists produced exciting rallies, with steady control throughout the tournament.
