My last day at the Peisheng boat factory in China, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve made. The ChalupSki range is coming together beautifully, and I can’t wait to share it with paddlers around the world.

There’s good news on the health front too. My Garmin training readiness has climbed to 95%, I’ve managed to paddle every single day while I’ve been here, and Clare says my skin is looking much healthier. My eyes are still giving me trouble after radiation, which is why I’m wearing glasses, but even my “rosy bum” is finally starting to look better!

Cancer is a journey of highs and lows. I’ve had some very difficult times, but right now I’m enjoying one of the good periods. That doesn’t mean I let my guard down and you always have to stay vigilant. But it does remind me of one very important lesson:

Stay positive. Never give up. Keep moving forward.
