Online booking system is now active to allow ya’all to book use of the skate park, plunge pool, chill area and braai facilities.

Hit the link in our bio to find this revolutionary online booking system. Engineered to ensure staff on site will welcome you in during the week. There are at times access issues during school days and this will hopefully rectify.

The facility will be open all weekend as per usual, it’s only during the week that we kindly request patrons to please book the space. Bookings should be sent before midnight the day before a session.

Thursday night braai sessions remain a free sesh from 5 to 9pm. Growing on that we would like to get more regular weekly sessions set up, if you have any ideas or want to set up
an event of any sorts please DM us.

Our day rate for riders remains at R100 for a session anytime from 9am to 7pm.

Fire in the hole. Every Thursday night is a free to ride session from 5pm to 9pm. We make a fire pit available to braai at sundown. Bring your cooler boxes and braai packs as we set up this inner city cook up every week.

Volunteering opportunities at City Bowl Park. Meet Kan, a BMX rider from Tokyo, Japan🇯🇵. While studying English in Cape Town, Kan chose to experience the City Bowl as a live in volunteer to assist with the upkeep and running of our facility. We are delighted to have Kan here this Summer. Please feel free to say hi anytime as Kan aims to improve His English while managing our space.

There is room for another live in volunteer, please DM us if you are looking for accommodation in exchange to run our facility and add value to our space🙏

This First Thursday we are hosting a DIY Art Fair for local artists. Setting up stalls around the facility. We’ve always felt this space is more than just action sports and we would like the art community to also see it as their space for other radical exhibitions. Please contact for booking a space.

Spread the word as we grow the community and use of this evolving space and claim it as an inner city sanctuary to the artists. There will be a skate jam / beat trick in the bowl at sunset. Team will be setting up a stand selling prints, vintage skateboard protective gear, skateboard decks. See you there

Wild skies this afternoon as we cleaned the bowl in anticipation for a busy weekend. Pull in, we open every day from 9am to 7pm. Braai areas are available and the plunge pool is super refreshing.

Hello Summer, we are open for business🔥Please let us know what you would like to see happen at CBP this season? We looking for eventing ideas, possible market dates’ while we always ready for shoots. Freedom is your host, the big gate is usually open so just slide it open and come on up. Opening times are 10am to 7pm, everyday R100 a session. Braai facilities available upon request. We have a little construction hustle on at the moment so please be aware it’s a bit messy as we are preparing a few accommodation options that will be available in December🙏 Thanks for your support

We bringing back our First Thursday gigs next week! Expect a spectacular display of skateboarding surrounded by colourful murals curated by . We will have DJ’s, live art, fire pits and a few friends will be setting up craft market stands. We wish to grow our facility by providing creatives a space to set up shop or just do their thing on the spot. Let’s make it another wild night to remember.
