Always in a great mood, full of energy, and so enthusiastic about his golf.

In this session, we’re working on the squat movement and maintaining space through impact. His pelvis needs to squat away from the golf ball to maintain the space between his body and the ball. This also helps the club stay in front on the way down, preventing it from falling too far behind him.

Great work here on the pelvis movement and creating the correct space through the swing.

🏆 What a special week at the 2026 Pinnacle Point Open Championship

A proud coach moment seeing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the A-Division all come from players I have the privilege of working with.

🥇 Max Wallenwein (-3)
Superb performance and a well-deserved win. Max has been part of the academy for the last two years, and it’s been incredible to watch his growth. Also great to see the work he is putting in at our Academy, coaching the young guns!

🥈 Heinrich Frylinck (-2)
Another fantastic result. Our regular sessions and great conversations in the studio continue to translate onto the golf course. Proud to see the hard work showing in the results once again.

🥉 Gustav Viljoen (-1)
A brilliant finish and another great step forward. It has been an absolute privilege to coach you and be part of your journey. Excited for what lies ahead and the results still to come.
