🐻💥 BEAR FIGHT CLUB GEORGE GOES BIG AT ADCC AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS! 💥🐻

Our kids absolutely crushed it on the continent’s biggest stage and brought home 5 MEDALS on debut or near-debut!

First, what is ADCC / submission grappling / no-gi jiu-jitsu is:
Athletes compete in rash guard & shorts (no gi/kimono). You can win by submission (joint lock or choke that makes your opponent tap) OR by points + referee decision if time runs out. It’s pure technique, leverage and ADCC is the most prestigious tournament in the sport – even UFC champions dream of winning it!

Here’s how our young lions did:

🥉 Noah Lenhard – 7 yrs (Holy Cross Primary)
Bronze • Boys U8 -28 kg

🥈🥈 Willem Klopper – 7 yrs (Holy Cross Primary)
DOUBLE SILVER • Boys U8 -32 kg & -36 kg (fought 2 weight classes up and made BOTH finals!!)

🥉 Jean Malan – 9 yrs (Laerskool George-Suid)
Bronze • Boys U10 -28 kg

🥇 Albert Malan – 11 yrs (Laerskool George-Suid)
GOLD • African Champion • Boys U12 -32 kg

🥈 Ethan Hartzenberg – 15 yrs (Hoërskool Outeniqua • Kwaggas)
Silver • Boys U17 -80 kg (his VERY FIRST tournament, beating older guys all the way to the final!)
