🥋 Help Two Top Young Judokas to attend the 23rd edition of the prestigious SANIX International Training Camp and Team competition in Japan!

We are incredibly proud to announce that two exceptionally talented young judokas from Eden — Ruwayda Fortuin (Hoekwil Primary School) and Zoe de la Croix (Holy Cross) — have been selected by Judo South Africa to attend the prestigious SANIX International Training Camp and Team Competition in Fukuoka, Japan, from 22–29 December 2025.
They will be accompanied by their coach, Lilian Steyn, who will be the female team manager.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these remarkable young athletes to train and compete against some of the best judokas in the world. Both Ruwayda and Zoe are currently ranked No. 1 in South Africa in their respective divisions — a testament to their dedication, passion, and countless hours of hard work.

A massive well done to the Eden Judo Team who competed at the National Schools and South African Open Championships, held at Tuks University in Pretoria from 30 June to 5 July 2025.

You made us incredibly proud — but more importantly, you should be proud of yourselves!

You are an exceptionally talented team, and your hard work has paid off.
Even though not everyone is returning with a medal, all of you improved tremendously and the future is looking bright for Eden Judo!
