It was a very close championship. Twelve races completed in both light and heavy conditions. The top two teams finished tied on points. Each team had 6 first places and 6 second places. The championship went to Peter and Thomas Funke who won the last race. Kyle Klaas with Robert von Gruenvoldt took second and Aaron Biagio with CJ Milln as crew finished third

2026 VLC Winter Challenge was a very quiet regatta. 2 races completed on Saturday before the wind died to nothing.
It was supposed to be an early start on Sunday morning but the lake was like a mirror. A very gentle puff came through and the racing was on. Just one race was sailed was sailed finishing in very, very wind.
Well done to all who managed to make their way around the course in extremely difficult conditions
