🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

In the build-up to our Second Annual Sports Day, deployed by the Tactical Control Team, our Chairperson visited Voorspoed Primary School to deliberate on the upcoming Chess Tournament.

True to our spirit, we did not arrive empty-handed. As a club running on a zero budget, driven only by the burning desire to create a stage for talent and revive sports in our community, we donated the remaining sanitary towels we had received during our She Matters Netball Tournament which was hosted in March 2026.

These contributions came from affiliated teams, the Head of the Greater Taung Local Sports Federations and the Hartswater Netball Klub which was not even part of the tournament. We trust and believe they will go a long way in making a difference.

We are because of you,our stakeholders, potential collaborators and partners. Our doors remain open for collaboration, partnership and support in pursuit of transformation through sports and academics.
Do not forget we have a date in October on the 10th 2026' 07h00. Do not be late.

The TAUNG SPORTS CLUB rated chess tournament Registration is officially open. Taking place on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Goitseone Mankuroane Primary School.The competition will follow a 5 Round Swiss System (30/30) under FIDE rules, offering players a fantastic opportunity to earn national ratings and compete for top honors.

He started playing soccer at a very young age back in 004. He fell in love with the art which later groomed him into the man that he is today. A champion of note , one or the goal keepers you do not want to go against.

When asked how he does it he said he treats every game as his last which he further on went to urge and advice other players to always play your game like it is your very last game of your life and always remember that you never know who is watching you.
