It had been such an exciting three days with Marcelo and some of his family. Being welcomed in their space as well as my treatment rooms definitely lightened up the environment with singing, laughter and exploring the importance of certain physiological and mechanical factors that plays a vital role in his performance on stage. I don't think we often realise the work and sacrifices that go into this type of career.

We reversed muscle hyper function and explored the relationship between breathing and muscle firing patterns. We had intuitively worked as a team to release some necessary tension and prepare him for his upcoming performances in New York City this month.

I was impressed by him and his wife's ability to make hard work look light and show up with such authenticity,hospitality and passion.

Despite some challenges before the race this last weekend Flavio De Simone still managed to receive a bronze medal for his 2:40:29 time at this year's Capetown Marathon Age Group World Champs.

The recovery protocol went smoothly and he even managed a fun long hike in Robberg Nature Reserve yesterday without any residual tiredness.

It has been a great honour to assist him and his wife whom had done the Trail Marathon on the Saturday towards better recovery and performance. LBB Sport is excited to witness the performance for the upcoming triathlon ventures in both their divisions with an international audience.

Phil Liggett has been the voice of Tour de France, commentating the race for over 50 years. He has reported over 15 Olympic Games and continues to put a smile on sport lovers faces as he engages the audience with his stories and experience. Thanks to Phil for being such a humble inspiration and visiting us in Hermanus. Wishing everyone an incredible holiday season and a fantastic end to a very successful and memorable 2024 with loads of recovery and performance accomplishments at LBB Sport.

Client Owen Cook ventured out and completed the K- Way Skyrun 100 this weekend, a self- supported and self- navigational extreme mountain ultra- trail running challenge. The race consists of a 100km through challenging terrain in the remote Witteberg mountains. LBB Sport congratulates this incredible achievement!
