SARDA Durban is very excited to announce that we have now become independent.
SARDA Durban is no longer associated with a riding school or equestrian organisation.
SARDA Durban sees this as a positive step, with the management committee and its team of Volunteers having total autonomy in the running of our programme and the service which we provide.
We are extremely grateful for the amazing support of theSouth African Jockey Academy and Hollywood Foundation for their unwavering support of SARDA Durban.
Hollywood Foundation are sponsoring new stables at the South African Jockey Academy to accommodate our newly acquired ponies.
We are currently still running our Therapeutic Horse Riding lessons to children with disabilities and we hope to expand our programme next year once our new facilities are completed.
A huge thank you goes to Sue Sadler Thelwells Equestrian Centre and for entrusting us with her two boys, Thunder and Desi who have settled into our programme beautifully and are much loved by us all.
