✨ Egmondt Van Heerden ✨
By day, Egmondt is the Head of the PMO at Guardrisk, herding projects, chasing deadlines, and convincing people that governance is, in fact, their friend!
His padel journey started much like many players’ do: with complete confidence in his tennis game and absolutely no understanding of how the glass works! 😂
Since then, his game has evolved from “see ball, hit ball hard” to something that at least resembles strategy. Along the way, Egmondt has discovered the importance of positioning, teamwork and, of course, confidently claiming that every lucky shot was completely intentional. 😉
What he loves most about padel is that the game always finds a way to humble you. One minute you’re planning your victory speech, and the next you’re retrieving your smash from the back fence! 🎾
Fun fact ➡️ when it comes to those unforced errors? Egmondt has a very clear explanation: bad bounce, dodgy lighting, or an unfortunate alignment of the planets.
It definitely wasn’t him. 😎
