It’s been an amazing journey…

Lions Cricket News has come to an end for the Tigers, and what an incredible tournament it has been.

We entered 12 teams, with 1 progressing to the Quarter-Finals, 3 reaching the Semi-Finals, and 1 going all the way to the Final and being crowned champions.

Along the way, our players amassed an incredible 37 MVP Caps, a testament to the talent, consistency and commitment displayed throughout the tournament.

The fairytale run came to an end today for our U13 Girls and U14 Boys, who both bowed out in their respective Semi-Finals after outstanding campaigns.

A special mention must go to our U14 Boys for displaying the true spirit of cricket. In a match that hung in the balance, they withdrew an appeal and invited the dismissed batsman back to continue his innings — a remarkable act of sportsmanship that embodied the values of our club and the game itself. More on this special moment will follow.

To all our players, coaches, managers, parents, supporters, sponsors and volunteers — thank you. Through the highs and lows, the celebrations and disappointments, your commitment, passion and support have been unwavering.

We are incredibly proud of every Tiger who wore the badge with pride throughout the tournament. The trophies and results are special, but the character, camaraderie and values displayed across all our teams are what make this club truly exceptional.
