Whatever has pushed you in the past be prepared cause the team has been racking their brains and feel this will push you a little bit more.

Central Gauteng Duathlon Team 2021

To take on the 8 provinces we see one of the biggest squads that will be going down to compete at Nelson Mandela Bay, PE on the 26th June, Saturday.

NB: Please let me know if your name is below and you HAVE NOT received an email.

Collectively we feel this squad will be one of the most successful teams and have high hopes that will include higher podium steps for our incredible athletes.

Gauteng is always a province that we are proud to represent and it is a true honour to put on the kit, smash "takkie" down on the tar and keep the rubber side down on the bike.

Race strategy will be to go out hard, speed up in the middle and finish with an all out sprint!!!!

The 2021 SA Duathlon Championships will be held in Nelson Mandela Bay on Saturday, 26th June.

For now please see the run and cycle route. We will have a whats app group so discuss all necessary items and meet ups prior for number collections etc.

Pat yourself on your back as representing your province is a huge deal and you got here cause you were the best on the day!

We understand that we cannot give an athlete who is not from CGT a spot so we trust you to give us your correct details and racing for the CORRECT PROVINCE.

AGAIN, uniforms will be the same as CGT Champs- If you have a CGT uniform from a previous year, yes you may wear it. If, however, you do not please go to your local Tri shop/ sportmans wearhouse and purchase a PLAIN BLACK Tri suit.

Lastly, Ladies and Gentleman.. you are representing one of the strongest provinces in the country with athletes that compete on the world stage. We are getting this sport right and we need you to work with us so this means giving us the right information, wearing the correct uniform and ensuring that we are taking the BEST athletes to fight the for our incredible province Gauteng.
