We know many of you were looking forward to running with us, and we're truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause. Big's Backyard Ultra, the original backyard ultra invented by Gary "Lazarus Lake" Cantrell, started in 2012 as a tribute to his rescued pit bull, Big. In 2019, we brought Delta Backyard Ultra to Camp Delta Scout Grounds Johannesburg. 💥

🎉 Our Delta Backyard Ultra event is coming up soon, and we're still looking for some awesome volunteers to help make it a success. It's the perfect way to get involved if you don't want to participate but still want to soak up the awesome atmosphere. 🏃♀️🏃♂️
We need your help! 🙏 We're looking for two volunteers to assist with route marking on Saturday afternoon, April 29th, from 4 pm. We also need two volunteers to help with registration from 5:45 am to 7:00 am on Sunday, April 30th. In addition, we're seeking four volunteers to marshal from 6:45 am to 11:00 am, and two more volunteers to help with timing. ⏰👀
As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive a complimentary ☕ coffee and 🌭 boerie roll from our food vendor.
