The tournament, bringing together players from across the Zimbabwean polo community, delivered two days of competitive action as teams competed for honours in one of Harare’s established polo fixtures.

The 2026 edition of the NPA Ibadan International Polo Tournament, one of Nigeria’s most historic polo tournaments returned to Eleyele. The tournament brought together players, patrons and polo supporters from across Nigeria for a memorable week of competition at the historic Ibadan Polo Club.

This year’s edition carried special significance as the club celebrated 120 years of polo in Ibadan, a milestone that highlights the city’s enduring contribution to the growth of the sport in Nigeria.

From competitive matches on the field to the rich traditions that define Nigerian polo, the tournament once again demonstrated why Ibadan remains one of the sport’s most important centres in Africa.

The Nedbank International Polo, an annual test match is one of the most anticipated fixtures on the African polo calendar. The test match returned to Johannesburg, South Africa as it welcomed Team USA for the 2026 edition.

The historic international encounter, played before a capacity crowd at Inanda Club, saw Team USA secure a 13–8 victory in a fast-paced display of world-class polo.

Beyond the action on the field, the day was a celebration of the theme “Africa In Full Colour”, bringing together sport, culture, fashion and hospitality in a showcase unique to African polo.

The Kings Polo Gold Cup is elevated to gold spectacle, powered by Ellerstina. A new era at Kings Polo Club. Kings Polo, powered by Ellerstina represents the elevation of polo standards in Egypt. The Pieres polo family comprising of Gonzalo Pieres (9), Facundo Pieres (10) and Nicolas Pieres (8) were in Cairo, Egpyt.

The Kings Polo Gold Cup will never be the same with the new partnership between Kings Polo Club and Ellerstina. Some sightseeing was necessary before the two days of top-level polo action.
