💡My pro tip for taking notes in your English meeting is to write down CONTENT WORDS

⚡️There is no way you will be able to write full sentences or catch all those little bits in between⏱️ Let prepositions, articles, auxiliary verbs and pronouns go out the window when you are listening in a meeting because they aren’t so important. 🪟

⚡️Remember that these content words are often emphasized/ stressed by the speaker and the other function words are kind of swallowed (they can be hard to hear especially when the person is a native English speaker).

Welcome to

Let me introduce myself! My name is Danielle and I’m a Business English coach. I have helped people from all over the world improve their English and I genuinely love learning about other people’s countries and cultures 🌍

I have a ton of energy and passion for teaching and my goal is to create a wonderful experience for my students. Learning a new language should be something you enjoy! It brings me such joy to see a student grow in confidence and not feel afraid to speak up in English. I like to challenge and motivate my students to reach their full potential so that they can take on anything that comes their way especially in their careers.

What’s my background?

Well, I started out studying business and commerce majoring in law. ⚖️ I then worked in a couple of different industries such as retail and recruitment. I’ve been in a corporate environment before so I know how to help you navigate through different interactions in a professional way. I taught in South Korea for a year (amazing!) and then spent the majority of my teaching career at a university language school in Johannesburg, South Africa.
