Diepgezet Massif rises in the far reaches of the ancient Makhonjwas. From the very first glance, we knew this would be no easy climb — yet even then, we were unprepared for just how tough it would be. Was it worth the strain? Absolutely. 100%.
Looking back at the photos, at the camaraderie that turned strangers into friends, and the soul-shifting nature of the experience — I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Maybe not just yet… but soon. Another piece of my soul now rests there, among the bloodstone and the green.
