Day 2 level 1 Regionals - getting ready for finals!

It was a long but rewarding first day for our young talents at the level 1 regionals at Ellis park yesterday. Congratulations to Zach Johnson, Ronan Hill and Jason Rodgers for making it into finals which saw Ronan taking the gold in 200 breast and bronze in 50 back whilst Jason is the proud owner of a bronze medal for the U13 50 backstroke event.

SA level 2 Regionals - day 3 - another rainy day which brought us another two medals - Kaylin de Almeida in third place for her 200 back and another silver for Phillip Trummer in the 200 breast. Further finalist of the day : Alex Ramaala. Congrats to all!

A big thank you from the team to coach Adrian - despite sleepless nights with rather sick grandsons, Adrian was there to guide us (parents and swimmers alike) all the way! 😘

SA Level 2 Regionals Update / day 2 / Saturday, 21 March : another successful day in the pool. Well done to Alex Ramaala, Max Johnson, Kaylin de Almeida as well as Julia and Phillip Trummer for making it into finals. Even though this day did not see any medals for Doreys, we are very proud of you guys and girls!

Brilliant day 1 at SA level 2 Regionals : only 8 swimmers in the water and a whole lot of finals - congrats to Alex Ramaala, Max Johnson, Kaylin de Almeida, Julia and Phillip Trummer.

Even brought 2 medals home - well done to Phillip for taking the silver in the 100 breast and to Kaylin for coming third in the girls event.

Excited for tomorrow!
